Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) Interface Virtual Training

January 14, 2021
1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACE) are stressful events that pose a significant threat to a child’s development and can lead to a range of mental and physical health issues throughout the course of their lifetime. The training describes the study itself, the science of how your brain is physically changed, how your genes are altered due to these experiences, as well as addresses resilience and protective factors to learn how we can have a positive impact.  It will help you identify ACE and the effect it has on people’s lives, what we all can do to dramatically improve health and resilience for this and future generations, as well as hopefully change the way you perceive people’s behavior.
