61% of our 10^th graders reported having had alcohol in the past year. Nationally, 59% of 10^th graders have reported using alcohol in the past year. Locally, our youth are above the national average in annual alcohol use. 54% of local 12^th graders have reported using marijuana. Nationally, 45% of 12^th graders have reported using marijuana. Again, more of our local youth are reported having used marijuana than youth nationally.
